Protecting Your HVAC Unit During Inconsistent Weather

Thursday, October 5th, 2023

Living in Florida means dealing with a unique challenge when it comes to maintaining your HVAC system. While many parts of the United States experience four distinct seasons, Florida’s weather can be unpredictable, with the need for air conditioning during the winter months.

At AC Designs, we’re committed to helping you keep your system running efficiently. Although nothing can be done about the weather outside, there are some steps you can take to prevent spikes in your energy bill during times of unpredictability.

Keep Your Heat On

When the temperature dips for just a day or two, it can be tempting to use space heaters or other portable heaters instead of firing up the HVAC. But despite their small size, these heaters can use an incredible amount of electricity—far more than a central HVAC uses.

These space heaters can also pose a fire risk, especially older models or ones that don’t have a functioning shutoff switch. Don’t be afraid to use your central HVAC, even if you’re expecting temperatures to rise soon.

Install a Smart Thermostat

One of the biggest risks to your HVAC system in unpredictable weather is overuse. If your HVAC system runs constantly, it will develop wear-and-tear issues far sooner than if it’s periodically given a rest.

Switching back and forth between your HVAC’s heating and cooling functions can also put it under great strain, so it’s a good idea to turn the entire system off and wait at least five or ten minutes before programming any major swings in temperature.

To alleviate this, consider installing a smart thermostat, which allows you to control your HVAC system remotely. You can program it to higher temperatures in summer and cooler settings in winter while you’re away, reducing energy consumption and the frequency of your system cycling on and off. Many smart thermostats are designed to optimize efficiency, taking the guesswork out of the process.

Check and Change Your Filters

Dirty and clogged filters force your HVAC system to work harder to circulate air. Regularly clean and replace filters that show signs of wear and tear. This simple maintenance task will provide a clean slate for your HVAC unit to operate more efficiently.

Minimize Energy Bill Spikes

While you can’t control the weather, there are measures you can take to prevent energy bill spikes during unpredictable times. Review your insurance and your AC unit’s warranty to ensure you’re covered in case of weather-related damage.

Best Practices for Weather Spikes

Learn how to navigate sudden hot or cold weather spikes to avoid the need for emergency AC repairs. Having contingency plans in place and being prepared can make a significant difference in maintaining your HVAC system’s efficiency during unexpected weather changes.

Storm preparation for your HVAC system involves securing it against power surges and ensuring it can continue to function effectively during adverse weather conditions. Avoid the need for emergency AC service during storms by investing in upgrades like surge protectors for your HVAC unit to safeguard it against unpredictable power fluctuations.

Schedule Annual AC Maintenance

Late winter is an ideal time to schedule an annual maintenance appointment with your HVAC technician. This ensures your air conditioning is in perfect working condition before the summer heat arrives. It also helps reduce the negative effects of spring’s fluctuating temperatures on your unit.

Protect Your Unit With AC Designs

By following these strategies and ensuring regular HVAC maintenance, you can keep your unit prepared to handle inconsistent temperatures year-round. Our technicians can troubleshoot any issues you may be facing and provide reliable after-hours AC service to ensure your comfort and peace of mind around the clock. Call AC Designs to schedule your comprehensive HVAC maintenance today.

AC Designs HVAC Financing Options

Tuesday, September 26th, 2023

While your HVAC system is crucial in keeping your home comfortable, upgrading or replacing it can be costly. Luckily, AC Designs has financing options based on your credit score that can make this investment feasible. At AC Designs, we’re here to teach you the benefits of HVAC financing to help you make the right choice for your budget.

Is it Time to Upgrade Your HVAC Unit?

Inefficient outdated HVAC systems require more energy to run than their successors, making them more likely to break-down. This can constantly leave you with an uncomfortable home, high utility bills, and expensive repairs. If you are experiencing any of those signs, it may be time for an AC replacement.

Air conditioning units can be expensive to replace, which is why many people choose to finance. By opting for HVAC financing, you can bring immediate comfort to your home while saving energy and balancing your budget.

Things to Consider Before HVAC Financing

When taking out an HVAC loan, it’s important to consider these key factors to make an informed decision that’s right for you and your budget.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR)

The APR includes the loan’s interest rate and any extra fees. Usually, a loan with the lowest APR is the most cost-effective, even if its interest rate isn’t the lowest.

Repayment Period

This is how long it takes to pay off the loan. Shorter repayment times mean higher monthly payments but potentially lower APRs.

Discounts

Some lenders give discounts if you have a history with them or choose automatic loan repayment. It’s a good idea to check out these options to help you save money.

Monthly Payments

Your monthly payment amount decides whether you can handle the loan along with your other expenses. Longer repayment times usually mean smaller monthly payments.

Fees

Be mindful of potential charges like prepayment penalties from lenders. Knowing about these fees helps you avoid unpleasant surprises.

Upkeep for Your New HVAC Unit

Investing in a new HVAC unit is just the beginning of keeping your home comfortable. To ensure its longevity, regular maintenance, and prompt repairs are essential. Joining an HVAC maintenance program like our Comfort Zone Club can provide you with discounts, priority scheduling, and overall peace of mind.

HVAC Financing FAQs

Before you dive into HVAC financing, it’s natural to have questions. Let’s address some of the most common ones:

Do I need perfect credit to finance an HVAC unit?

Not necessarily. Different lenders have varying credit requirements. While a lower credit score might lead to higher interest rates, it doesn’t necessarily disqualify you.

What credit score do you need to finance an HVAC system?

The required credit score depends on the loan type and the lender. Some lenders may approve your application even with a lower credit score if you meet criteria in other areas.

What is the average cost of a new HVAC system?

Air conditioning replacement costs vary based on factors like your home’s size, system type, and brand choice. On average, prices range from $3,500 to $15,000, with standard systems falling between $7,000 and $10,000.

Do HVAC companies offer financing?

Yes, many HVAC companies offer a variety of financing options. Explore AC Design’s financing resources for more information to avoid paying for an entire HVAC system upfront.

Is an HVAC system a good investment?

A new air conditioning system can enhance your home’s value, reduce energy costs by up to 30%, and provide improved comfort for the whole family. When evaluating your investment, consider the potential for energy savings and increased home value as well.

Tips to Make Indoor Air Safer to Breathe

Monday, August 28th, 2023

Your home’s indoor air quality is crucial to your health, especially if you have respiratory conditions like asthma. At AC Designs, we’re here to teach you everything you need to know about improving your indoor air quality and creating a healthier living environment in your home so you and your loved ones can breathe cleaner, safer indoor air.

What are the signs of poor indoor air quality?

Signs of poor indoor air quality often go beyond what meets the eye. Some of the most common signs include persistent allergy symptoms like excessive sneezing, coughing, and nasal congestion. Stale or stuffy air, lingering odors, and visible mold or mildew growth are also signs of poor indoor air quality.

Frequent headaches, fatigue, or difficulty concentrating can also be caused by poor ventilation or pollutants in your home’s air. If you notice any of these signs, take action to improve your indoor air quality immediately to ensure that your family is breathing clean air.

What indoor air quality solutions should you consider?

Luckily, there are a number of solutions available to help improve your home’s indoor air quality and create a healthier living environment. Ensure the air you and your loved ones breathe is cleaner, healthier, and more refreshing with these tips:

Proper Ventilation

The foundation of improved air quality lies in proper ventilation. This can be as simple as opening windows whenever possible to allow fresh outdoor air to circulate. For areas prone to moisture, like kitchens and bathrooms, use exhaust fans to keep humidity and pollutants from accumulating.

Keep Your Home Clean

Regular cleaning routines are essential in removing allergens and irritants from your home. Dusting surfaces, vacuuming with a HEPA filter-equipped vacuum cleaner, and keeping carpets and upholstery clean can significantly reduce the particles that can harm your indoor air quality.

Control Humidity Indoors

Maintaining the right level of humidity is crucial. Excess moisture can lead to mold growth, which releases spores into the air. A dehumidifier can be a valuable tool in controlling humidity levels, particularly in damp areas like basements.

Change Your Filters

To actively remove particles from the air, consider using air purifiers. High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are especially effective in capturing tiny particles like dust, pollen, pet dander, and even some bacteria or viruses.

Use an air filter with a high minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) rating that can easily remove tiny pollen and dust particles from your air. It’s important to replace your filter every three months, or sooner if needed.

Use Indoor Plants

Introducing indoor plants into your living spaces is a great natural way to improve your home’s air quality. Plants like snake plants, peace lilies, and spider plants have been shown to help remove certain pollutants from the air and increase oxygen levels.

Avoid VOCs

In terms of materials used within your living space, opting for low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints, finishes, and furnishings can benefit your home’s air quality. VOCs are chemicals released by some products that can lead to indoor air pollution.

Don’t Smoke Indoors

Refraining from smoking indoors goes a long way in maintaining healthy air quality. Cigarette smoke introduces a range of harmful chemicals into the air that can linger and harm your and your family’s respiratory health.

Protect Air Quality With Annual Maintenance

One of the most effective ways to ensure consistent indoor air quality is by scheduling annual air conditioning maintenance. Regular check-ups and servicing help prevent the accumulation of dust, allergens, and pollutants within your HVAC system.

By proactively addressing potential issues and making sure that your systems are running efficiently, you can protect the air quality in your living or workspaces and contribute to a healthier environment for all occupants.

When you join AC Designs’ preferred customer maintenance program, you can enjoy year-round priority scheduling on HVAC maintenance, as well as two pre-scheduled system checks per year and after-hours emergency service, all for a low annual cost.

What To Expect From Your Jacksonville AC Installation

Monday, August 21st, 2023

Whether upgrading your current air conditioning system or installing one for the first time, the installation process can be more complex than you might think. Understanding the stages involved and how you can prepare for a successful installation is essential. AC Designs is here to help you learn every detail of what you can expect from your Jacksonville AC replacement or installation.

What to Expect on Installation Day

If you’re gearing up for an AC installation, there are a few things you should anticipate on the big day. Air conditioning installation isn’t a quick job, and it’s not uncommon for the installation to take an entire day.

This can be surprising for some, but it’s necessary due to the need to remove old equipment and replace it with new components. Upon arrival, the HVAC technicians will review the job details with you, verify the equipment, and prep the job site.

This includes locating the thermostat, breaker panel, equipment room, and outdoor unit. Our techs will also use drop cloths to protect your space. The installation involves work both indoors and outdoors. The technicians will perform various tests, such as checking gas pressure, temperature rise, and proper ventilation.

After the installation, we conduct thorough testing to ensure everything functions optimally. This includes testing gas pressure, temperature adjustments, and ventilation to ensure your new HVAC system operates efficiently.

How Should You Prepare For Your AC Installation?

There are many ways to prepare your home for your new unit. To ensure a seamless air conditioning replacement or installation process, it is important to consider these steps:

Secure Pets

If you have pets, it’s best to secure them in a safe area away from the installation site to prevent accidents or undue stress. Plus, this allows your HVAC technicians to complete their work efficiently and distraction-free.

Protect Valuables

HVAC replacements and installations can get messy. Move valuable items away from the job site to avoid any potential damage during the installation process.

Duct Preparation

Before installing your new air conditioning unit, make sure that your ducts are clean and free of dust and dirt. Dirty ducts can impact the efficiency of your new AC system and result in costly repairs down the road.

Clear the Area

Creating a clutter-free and obstacle-free environment for your HVAC technicians is important. This will help them perform their tasks smoothly. Ensure there is a clear path for them to access various parts of your home where work needs to be done.

Verify Your System

Double-check that the AC system being installed is the correct one you ordered to avoid any potential mix-ups.

How to Increase Your New Unit’s Lifespan

Your AC unit is a valuable investment; extending its lifespan for as long as possible should be your top priority. Regular maintenance and care are some of the best ways to get the most out of your system.

Set up a maintenance plan to ensure regular check-ups and tune-ups. This can significantly extend the life of your AC unit. At AC Designs, our Comfort Zone Maintenance Club offers priority scheduling and replacement, after-hours emergency service, and discounts on repairs and fees.

It’s also essential to keep your unit clean and free from debris. Regular cleaning can prevent clogs and ensure optimal performance. Consider using programmable thermostats to regulate your AC usage, reducing strain on the system.

The Benefits Of Preventative AC Maintenance

Thursday, June 29th, 2023

In the scorching heat of summer, an AC system that functions properly is a must. However, many homeowners tend to overlook the importance of preventative AC maintenance for their cooling systems. Discover how a little maintenance can go a long way in keeping you cool and comfortable during the hottest months of the year.

What Are the Benefits of Regular HVAC Maintenance?

Maintaining your HVAC system on a regular basis allows you to take proactive steps to extend your unit’s lifespan. Neglecting maintenance can lead to unexpected breakdowns at the worst possible times, leaving your home unprotected from the summer heat. Some top benefits include:

Preventing Malfunctions

Regular maintenance helps identify and address any potential issues before they turn into major problems, keeping your AC running smoothly all year long.

Avoiding Costly Repairs

Catching and fixing small issues during routine maintenance helps prevent them from becoming more damaging and expensive down the line.

Boosting AC Performance

Maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating parts enhance the performance of your AC unit, allowing it to cool your space more effectively.

Improving Energy Efficiency

A well-maintained HVAC system operates more efficiently, reducing energy consumption and lowering your monthly utility bills.

Enhancing Indoor Air Quality

Regular filter changes and cleaning can result in cleaner air circulation. This will reduce allergens, dust, and other airborne particles in your home.

AC Maintenance Checklist

When it comes to AC maintenance, it’s important that you cover all the essential tasks to keep your system running smoothly. But how often should you schedule maintenance, and what kind of tasks should be included?

Generally, it is recommended to have your AC unit professionally serviced at least once a year. Ideally, this maintenance should be conducted before the start of the cooling season to address any potential issues and prepare your system for heavy use.

During this service, an HVAC technician will perform a range of tasks, including inspecting and cleaning the air filters, checking and calibrating the thermostat, inspecting and cleaning the coils, lubricating moving parts, checking electrical connections, and evaluating your system’s overall performance.

Investing in preventative maintenance today can save you from costly repairs tomorrow. Failure to schedule these AC services before the summer can result in heavy strain on your unit, eventually leading to a costly breakdown.

Benefits of Central Air Maintenance Plans

Staying on top of AC service can be time-consuming, but with a maintenance plan, you can leave the hassle of scheduling and remembering maintenance tasks to the professionals. Here are some reasons why joining AC Designs’ Comfort Zone Maintenance Club is the best choice for you:

Maximum Return on Investment

Even if only one major problem is prevented over the course of your air conditioner’s life, you’ve likely already exceeded your return on investment. Regularly-scheduled maintenance saves you money in the long run.

Avoidable Repairs

HVAC technicians estimate that around 80% of repairs could have been prevented with regular AC maintenance. By proactively addressing issues, you can avoid costly breakdowns and keep your unit running efficiently.

Priority Scheduling and Service

Joining a maintenance plan ensures you receive priority scheduling and prompt service, especially during peak seasons. At AC Designs, we offer 2 pre-scheduled system checks per year, as well as priority replacement of parts and units and after-hours emergency service.

Peace of Mind

At AC Designs, your comfort is our number one concern. Knowing that your AC system is regularly maintained by experienced professionals provides peace of mind and allows you to enjoy the hottest months of the year worry-free.

Signs You Need an AC Replacement

Wednesday, June 28th, 2023

Summer is in full swing in Jacksonville, FL, and the last thing you need is a broken AC unit leaving you stuck in the heat. If your energy bills are rising and your unit is constantly breaking down, your system may need more than just repairs. Learn the warning signs that it’s time for an AC replacement so you can stay comfortable in the summer heat.

When is AC Replacement Necessary?

Understanding your unit’s age, repair history, efficiency rating, and repair cost can help you make an informed decision on whether your unit needs to be repaired or replaced after breaking down. Here are some of the top signs that a replacement is right for you:

Old Unit Age

Most air conditioning systems have an average lifespan of around 10 to 15 years. If your unit is approaching or beyond this range, it’s likely experiencing wear and tear that could lead to frequent breakdowns and inefficiency.

High Repair Costs

If the cost to repair your broken down unit is significant and your system is older, it’s usually more cost-effective to replace it. This way, you can invest in a more reliable unit and avoid costly summer AC maintenance.

Graphic explaining when it's best to repair or replace your HVAC unit

High Breakdown Frequency

It is also important to consider how often your system breaks down. Frequent breakdowns are a clear indicator that your unit is struggling to keep up. If you find yourself constantly repairing your system, it may be a sign that replacement is necessary.

Low Efficiency Rating

With a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) rating of 15 or higher, your unit is generally worth repairing. However, if your system has a lower SEER rating, it may be more energy-efficient to replace it with a newer, more efficient model.

Increase in Energy Bills

A sharp increase in energy costs could be a sign of an inefficient HVAC system. Installing a newer model designed to be more energy-efficient can save large amounts of energy each month and lead to lower utility bills.

Benefits of Replacing Your HVAC System

From long-term cost savings to increased comfort in your home, replacing your AC unit comes with many benefits. Older units have to work harder to cool your home, but upgrading to a newer model allows you to take advantage of advanced technology and new energy-saving features and cut down on electricity costs.

Modern AC units come with advanced features like programmable thermostat control and better air filtration, providing your home with enhanced comfort. New units also offer improved reliability and performance that will help you avoid emergency HVAC summer maintenance.

While repairing your old unit might fix the immediate problem, there’s always a risk of further breakdowns due to old age and wear and tear. Consider replacing your unit to enjoy peace of mind knowing that your reliable cooling system will keep your home comfortable for years to come.

How Can I Increase My AC Unit Lifespan?

Whether you have a brand new HVAC system or an older one, it’s important to prioritize regular maintenance to maximize its efficiency. Keep these key maintenance practices in mind year round:

Change Air Filters Regularly

Dirty filters can restrict your unit’s airflow and place strain on your system, leading to lower efficiency. Replace your filters according to manufacturer recommendations to keep your unit running efficiently.

Clear Away Debris

Keep the area around your outdoor unit free from debris such as leaves, branches, and dirt. This allows for proper air circulation and prevents potential damage to your unit.

Use a Programmable Thermostat

Utilizing a programmable thermostat allows you to set temperature schedules based on your schedule. By giving your unit a break while you’re away from home, you can optimize your energy usage and reduce wear and tear on your system.

Join a Maintenance Program

Keeping up with maintenance on your HVAC unit is essential to its longevity and performance. Join AC Designs’ Comfort Zone Maintenance Club to enjoy priority scheduling, priority replacement on parts, services discounts, and more.

Should My AC Be Running All Day in Summer?

Tuesday, June 20th, 2023

Summer season in Florida is here, but no matter how hot it is outside, your AC unit should never be running constantly. If you find that your AC is running all day without effectively cooling your home, there may be some underlying issues with your unit. At AC Designs, we’re here to offer some tips on how to reduce heat in your home without relying solely on your AC system.

Why is my AC unit running all day?

There are numerous factors that could contribute to your AC unit running continuously without cooling your home properly. Here are some of the most common issues that can place strain on your HVAC system:

Your AC Unit is Too Small

If your AC unit is undersized for the size of your home, it may struggle to cool each room effectively. This causes your unit to continuously run in an attempt to reach the desired temperature. Consult with a professional technician to determine if your AC unit is appropriately sized for your home.

You’ve Fallen Behind on AC Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure your AC unit functions properly. Neglecting routine maintenance tasks like cleaning or replacing air filters, checking refrigerant levels, and cleaning the condenser coils can lead to reduced efficiency and increased energy consumption.

Summer AC maintenance is especially important as outdoor temperatures rise. Join AC Designs’ Preferred Customer Maintenance Program today to stay on top of these tasks and ensure your unit runs smoothly year-round.

Restricted Airflow

Blockages in your AC system such as dirty air filters, closed vents, or blocked ductwork can restrict the airflow and strain your AC unit. This can cause it to run continuously without effectively cooling your home. Regularly inspect and clean air filters, ensure vents are open and unobstructed, and consider having your ductwork inspected regularly to prevent any issues.

Reduce the Heat Without Running Your AC Unit All Day

Nothing beats your AC during the hot Jacksonville, FL summer, but it’s important to reduce strain on your unit as much as possible. Luckily, there are many alternative methods to cool down your home without solely relying on your HVAC system. Here are a few tips:

Run Appliances at Night

Appliances like dishwashers and dryers generate heat when in use. By running these appliances during the cooler evening hours, you can avoid adding extra heat to your home during the day.

Keep The Curtains Drawn

Closing curtains and blinds or using window treatments during the day can help block out sunlight and prevent heat from entering your home. This can significantly reduce the need for your AC unit to run continuously.

Use Thermostat Control

Set your thermostat to a slightly higher temperature during the day when you’re not at home to prevent your unit from running all day long. Some thermostat systems can be programmed to lower the temperature in your home before you return or when you need the cooling the most.

Keep Fans on and Dehumidify

Ceiling fans or portable fans can encourage air circulation and create a breeze that makes your home feel cooler. Additionally, using a dehumidifier can help reduce moisture levels, making the air feel more comfortable.

HVAC Summer Maintenance in Jacksonville, FL

If your cooling system is constantly running during the day, it’s important to address the issue to keep your home comfortable and preserve your AC unit’s lifespan. HVAC Tips and Tricks for New Homeowners

Monday, May 9th, 2022

Finding your new home is an exciting time—and with so much to consider, the HVAC system isn’t usually at the top of your mind. But if your new home’s AC system isn’t working properly, you’ll be stuck feeling hot, humid, and uncomfortable. Here’s our top advice for new homeowners to ensure your AC runs properly from move-in day and lasts for years to come.

Review Your HVAC Unit’s History

Check the AC Warranty

The first step when buying your new home is to check if the AC unit has a warranty and review its terms and conditions. New homeowners will want to keep a copy of this warranty on hand in case any issues arise.

Review Past AC Maintenance History

To get a clear picture of your HVAC system’s history, ask if the previous homeowner will share past AC maintenance and inspection findings. This will tell you whether there were problems in the past and what to expect for the future.

Schedule Your Own AC Maintenance

If the previous homeowner can’t share a warranty or past maintenance records, it’s best to schedule a professional AC maintenance check as soon as possible. Your certified HVAC technician will identify any issues or needed repairs before they become a problem. That way, you won’t be caught without a working cooling system in the heat of summer.

Consider New AC Installation

Prepare yourself for the possibility that your new home’s AC system may need to be replaced. Our Florida weather is hot and humid year-round, putting extra strain on units. Don’t be fooled by the unit’s age, either. If the unit wasn’t maintained properly, or if the wrong size of unit was installed in the first place, it could wear out before its time.

AC Installation for a New System

In case you do decide to install a new unit at move-in, you’ll need to consider a variety of factors to ensure you get the right heating and cooling system for your home.

Choose the Right Type of System

Whether your home is older or newer, you’ll have to decide on the type of system that’s a match for the space. Options include a single central air conditioner, multiple systems, or a primary system with smaller units throughout the home. This is especially important when building a new home, because you’ll need to budget for the cost of a new HVAC system.

Consider Energy Efficiency

Budgeting goes beyond the initial cost for HVAC installation, too. We recommend taking a close look at the HVAC unit’s efficiency rating to save you money on energy bills in the long run.

Getting familiar with efficiency ratings can also help. They include SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio), AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency specific to furnaces, water heaters, and boilers), or HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor specific to heat pumps).

DIY AC Maintenance

To save money, you can perform your own AC maintenance. The good news is that there are several things you can do to ensure your AC is running efficiently. Don’t let your unit work too hard by fluctuating the temperature or running it too high or low.

Set Your Thermostat for Energy Efficiency

The AC owner’s manual may show a recommended energy-efficient temperature range. If not, the next time you have an AC inspection, ask the service technician what they recommend. Then, consider getting a programmable thermostat to keep your house at the right temperature even when you’re away.

Change Your AC Filter Regularly

Particle buildup clogs your ac filters, so we recommend changing them at least every 30–90 days. Proper airflow can be affected by your outdoor unit as well. Keep up yard maintenance around your unit to remove any obstructions near the air intake.

Ensure Proper Airflow

But what happens when there’s improper airflow? Seal any areas of your home that cause a draft, such as doorways or cracks around windows. Otherwise, the leaks will lower your HVAC efficiency.

It may also seem efficient to close vents to cool off other areas of your home quicker, but did you know that it can actually cause your unit to work harder? Keep all your vents open and remove any chairs, bookshelves, etc., that may be blocking the vent registers.

Schedule Professional HVAC Maintenance

The simplest way to keep your system running smoothly is to have a qualified HVAC service company perform regular AC maintenance.

Enroll in an AC Maintenance Plan

It’s a best practice to schedule a certified HVAC technician to run an AC inspection on your unit twice per year. When searching for an AC company in Jacksonville, FL, or an AC company in St. Augustine, FL, look for one that has served your area for years, like AC Designs. We provide custom system design, in-house energy calculations, and customizable maintenance.

Our technicians will treat you like a person and care for your unit like it’s our own. With AC Designs’ Preferred Customer Maintenance Program, you’ll benefit from regular HVAC maintenance on your unit to keep your home comfortable without worry.
