WISH for OUR HEROES is a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting the men and women of the United States active-duty military, and in some cases, Veterans. Military life is difficult—men and women selflessly serve our nation, while working for little pay, often putting their life on the line, and still dealing with home problems that place a large burden on their families.
Non-Profit Taps into Community Resources to Help Military Family
Earlier this month, the organization’s North Florida chapter received a request from Joshua, an active duty Naval E6 stationed at NAS Jax and currently on deployment, who was in need of assistance when his family’s air conditioner stopped working.
Upon learning that Joshua’s wife and 4 young children were suffering at home from the August heat, A/C Designs teamed up with Goodman to completely cover the cost of the equipment replacement.
A/C Designs is a proud supporter of our military and we were honored to have the opportunity to help Joshua and his young family during this time of need.
