Commitment to Accuracy and Transparency
At A/C Designs, we believe families deserve clear, useful information that helps them understand their HVAC options and make informed decisions without pressure.
Our educational content is created with accuracy, transparency, and practical value in mind. We explain what is known, distinguish facts from possibilities, and avoid making promises that cannot be verified. When pricing, scheduling, warranty coverage, equipment availability, repair needs, product performance, promotions, or financing details depend on a specific situation, we encourage readers to contact our team so the applicable information can be confirmed.
We aim to make HVAC information easier to understand while respecting that every home, system, and family may have different needs.
Content Creation Process
Our content process combines industry experience, technical review when appropriate, and editorial oversight.
Topics are developed based on common questions, homeowner needs, HVAC services, equipment considerations, changing industry information, and the experience of our team. Content is written to explain options clearly rather than push readers toward a particular purchase or service.
Before publication, content may move through several stages:
- Creation by an experienced professional familiar with the HVAC industry and A/C Designs
- Technical review when the subject requires additional industry verification
- Editorial review for clarity, readability, consistency, and alignment with our brand standards
- A final check for unsupported claims, unclear language, and information that needs confirmation
The level of review may vary depending on the type and complexity of the content.

Editorial Oversight
Shannon Booker
Customer Experience Manager.
Shannon has 9 years of experience and specializes in brand voice, clarity, readability, customer experience, and process documentation. She has led the creation of training manuals, standard operating procedures, and operational documentation used across the retail division.
Her editorial responsibilities include reviewing content for clarity, consistency, readability, and alignment with A/C Designs’ brand standards before publication.
Editorial oversight focuses on clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and does not replace technical review.
Brand Voice Enforcement
All customer-facing content is expected to follow the A/C Designs Brand Voice Guide.
Our voice is informative, neighborly, and honest. Our tone should feel both warm and approachable and calm and professional. We use clear, homeowner-friendly language and limit technical terminology whenever possible. When a technical term is necessary, we explain it in plain language.
We also follow several core communication principles:
- We explain options before asking families to make a decision.
- We separate verified facts from possibilities.
- We acknowledge when information needs to be confirmed.
- We do not use high-pressure or fear-based language.
- We do not make unsupported claims about pricing, response times, warranties, availability, repairs, scheduling, or product performance.
- We distinguish between required repairs, optional recommendations, maintenance items, accessories, replacement options, and promotional or financing offers.
- We focus on helping families understand what may fit their home, comfort needs, and goals.
The Brand Voice Guide is part of our editorial standard and is used to help keep published content consistent with how A/C Designs communicates with customers.
Content Update and Review Schedule
We aim to review published educational content approximately every 6 to 12 months, depending on the topic.
Content may be reviewed sooner when relevant information changes, including:
- Manufacturer information
- Equipment specifications
- HVAC technology
- Industry standards or regulations
- Company services or procedures
- Warranty information
- Financing or promotional terms
- Other facts that may affect the accuracy of published information
Where appropriate, content may display a publication date, last updated date, or last reviewed date so readers can better understand when the information was evaluated.
A review date indicates when the content was reviewed; it does not mean every underlying product, service, or individual customer circumstance remains unchanged.
Sources and Accuracy Standards
Our content may draw from several types of information, depending on the topic:
- Hands-on HVAC and operational experience
- Manufacturer documentation
- Applicable industry standards and codes
- Internal training and process documentation
- Verified company service information
- Information provided by qualified members of our team
We work to distinguish confirmed information from general guidance.
Because HVAC systems, homes, warranties, equipment, pricing, availability, and service circumstances can differ, educational content should not be treated as a substitute for an evaluation of a specific system.
When a detail cannot be verified from the available information, we would rather say that it needs to be confirmed than make an assumption.
Transparency and Accountability
We want readers to understand who is responsible for the information they are reading.
When appropriate, our content may identify:
- The author
- The technical reviewer, when a technical review was performed
- The most recent publication, update, or review date
Author and reviewer information may include relevant professional background, experience, education, licenses, and other credentials that have been provided and verified for publication.
Editorial contributors may also be identified when their role helps explain how content is governed for clarity and consistency.
Use of AI and Automation
A/C Designs may use AI and other software tools to assist with activities such as research, organization, drafting, editing support, or content preparation.
These tools do not replace human responsibility for published content.
People review content before publication to check its accuracy, clarity, relevance, and alignment with A/C Designs’ editorial and brand standards. When technical review is appropriate, that responsibility remains with the qualified human reviewer rather than an automated tool.
Structured Data and Search Visibility
We may use structured website information and other publishing tools to help search engines and other digital systems better understand our content, company, authors, reviewers, and areas of expertise.
When professional information is included in this format, we aim to use accurate details that have been provided or approved for public use.
These tools help organize information for digital platforms, but they do not change our standards for accuracy or human review.
Feedback and Corrections
We welcome questions and corrections from readers.
If you believe information on our website is unclear, incomplete, or no longer accurate, please contact our team. We will review the concern and make an update when appropriate.
HVAC information can depend on the equipment, home, manufacturer terms, service history, and other individual circumstances. If you need an answer about your specific system or service, contact our team so we can confirm the details that apply.
Our goal is to provide clear information, explain the available options, and help families feel informed and comfortable with their decisions.
