A/C Design does good work, but at a premium price. They don't offer any senior discounts for people on fixed incomes. Yes, they are expensive, the staff is very friendly and courteous.

Just purchased this home in August. AC Designs installed the heat pump here 2 years ago. This house has been mostly unoccupied during that time. I contacted them last Wed to sign up for their annual maintenance program. Turns out, Thurs night the outdoor unit stopped working and the house started warming up with the indoor air handler running but no cooling. I tried turning the breaker on and off and checking for a full condensate line and that didn't solve the problem. I called Fri morning to let them know and turned off the unit. They came out that day to look at it and only charged me the member price for the call. Of course the outdoor unit worked fine while he was here after restarting, but I was told if it fails in the next two months, they will not charge for the second house call.
